Coffee - for the first time in my life...

Well - I did it, I drank coffee for the first time in my life. Really - I've have never drank it before, I have tried on a couple of occasions -and could not stand it - bitter...bitter...bitter - Tried forcing it down (you know those long car trips) but could never get past the first sip. But... out of courtesy to our host orphanage, it was all they could offer and therefore I accepted - And man was it good!. They make with mostly milk, lots of sugar and a little water - no bitterness whatsoever, I couldn't belive it. - Then tonight, I did another first - hot tea...with Milk, basically the same as the coffee but wiith tea instead. - It wasn't too bad either.

I could write about all we did today - which was awesome, but I know that everyone else is already writing the details so I'll save some of mine up.

One item to note, I did get my luggage last night - I know that everyone around me (litterally) is happy now. It really didn't bother me... I've been able to hack it in the woods for weeks before - this was relatively - not too bad - I pack light anyway. - I thought we were supposd to be roughing it here.

We tried to download some pics tonight, but it crashed the PC - We will try again at another site.

Once again, Love you guys...and Keep praying.

BTW, How is Mark and the Girls doing? - Is someone looking after them? - We seem to keep missing each the on the phone. - And yes, Mark...you can post a comment here.

Lots of love, ...ml

Beware of the coffee... it's additive! I never drank coffee in all my years, but tried it last year in India. I am now a coffee drinker... uurrrgghhh!

Love You ~ Amy

Mary,

Sounds like you are having a great time. Funny how much we are so like dad and don't really drink much coffee. After 2 kids I have resorted to 1 cup a day. Anyway, it sounds like y'all are doing great and being able to really enjoy yourself.

I have to say to you and everyone... you have always been our earth child, so I knew it wouldn't bother you to much to not have your luggage, but glad to hear it made it to you.

I talked with Mark today and I think he is running here and there with the girls. We have Maranda tonight (sleeping on a mattress at the foot of our bed as we already have Ty and Eli... there is no more room in the bed). :)

We are heading to the zoo tomorrow morning then we will be taking her to one of her many social events for the day.

Enjoying reading your postings and hearing what the Lord is doing in everyone's lives.

We love you!

Hi Mary,

I am glad that you survived the fall and that your camera equipment made it through okay also.

Sorry to read that you couldn't upload any pictures. I have been looking forward to seeing them.

Be blessed.

Hi,

Just a quick reminder...don't bring orphans home.
It sounds like in one way, they are all blessed in away that your kids may never know. Maybe one day you can get me on a 24 hr plane ride...NOT, but we are praying for you all the time and in the middle of the night..sometimes. Things are strange here with out you and the evil one is doing the usual in trying my patients. I pray for the teams family too. I know they are going through the same thing because you guys are doing the STUFF. Hang in there and we will see ya soon.
Hug a orphan for me!
